1. The Director shall appoint two Deputy Directors of the Department and shall assign each Deputy Director his or her duties. 2. Each Deputy Director is in the unclassified service of the State. 3. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 284.143, each Deputy Director shall devote his or her entire time and attention to the business of his or her office and shall not engage in any other gainful employment or occupation.
