1. 'Publication' or 'publish' means three consecutive weekly publications in at least one newspaper having general circulation in the county, the first publication being at least 15 days prior to the designated time or event. 2. Any notice or other instrument published shall not necessarily be made on the same day of the week in each of the 3 weeks; but not less than 14 days, excluding the day of the first publication but including the day of the last publication, shall intervene between the first publication and the last publication. 3. Publication shall be complete on the day of the last publication. 4. Any publication herein required shall be verified by the affidavit of the publisher and filed with the county clerk.
