1. A constable to whom any process, writ, order or paper is delivered shall: (a) Execute the same with diligence, according to its command or as required by law. (b) Return it without delay to the proper court or officer, with his or her certificate endorsed thereon of the manner of its service or execution, or, if not served or executed, the reasons for his or her failure. 2. A constable who fails to comply with subsection 1 is liable to the party aggrieved for all damages sustained by the party on account of such neglect. (Added to NRS by 2015, 2515)
