1. The county clerk shall promptly file with the board of county commissioners the certificate for: (a) A petition or amended petition which the county clerk determines is sufficient; and (b) A petition or amended petition which the county clerk determines is insufficient if a notice to amend or a notice to review is not timely filed by the committee. The sufficiency of the petition as certified by the county clerk shall be deemed a final determination of the board. 2. The committee may, within 2 days after it receives written notice from the county clerk that the petition or amended petition is insufficient, file a notice to review with the board of county commissioners. The board shall determine the sufficiency of the petition within 30 days after it receives the notice to review. The decision of the board is a final determination for the purposes of judicial review. (Added to NRS by 1987, 1702)
