1. Upon approval of the incorporation by the voters, the board of county commissioners shall designate a date on which an election to elect the officers of the incorporated city will be held. The election must be held not less than 60 days nor more than 120 days after the election conducted pursuant to NRS 266.029. 2. The county clerk shall publish or cause to be published notice of the election in a newspaper of general circulation in the incorporated city. The notice must be published once each week for 3 consecutive weeks. If no newspaper of general circulation is published in the city, the county clerk shall post the notice in at least five public places in the city. (Added to NRS by 1987, 1704)
