If the resolution adopted proposes to lease the electric light and power system, the city council shall, after the return of the appraisement, negotiate with one or more qualified lessees. If such negotiations are successful, the city council shall submit the proposed lease for acceptance or rejection at the election. In any lease, the council shall require a bond for faithful performance by the lessee. (Added to NRS by 1969, 862)
