1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 281.230, 281A.430 and 332.800, it is unlawful for any city officer, directly or indirectly, to be interested in any contract made by the city officer or to be a purchaser or interested in any purchase of a sale made by the city officer in the discharge of his or her official duties. 2.
