In a county whose population is 700,000 or more, from and after the effective date of the annexation of territory by an unincorporated town, the territory annexed and its inhabitants and property are subject to all debts, laws, ordinances and regulations in force in the annexing unincorporated town and are entitled to the same privileges and benefits as other parts of the annexing unincorporated town. The newly annexed territory is subject to municipal taxes levied by the annexing unincorporated town for the fiscal year following the effective date of annexation. (Added to NRS by 2011, 515)
