Statute 277a 220

1. A commission may be designated as a metropolitan planning organization pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 134 and 49 U.S.C. § 5303. 2. If a commission is designated as a metropolitan planning organization, the commission shall carry out the duties prescribed by federal law for a metropolitan planning organization in addition to any other duties required by specific statute.
