1. It is unlawful for any member of the governing body of the Agency to be interested, directly or indirectly, in any contract made by that member, or be a purchaser or be interested, directly or indirectly, in any purchase of a sale made by that member in the discharge of his or her official duties. 2. All contracts made in violation of subsection 1 may be declared void at the instance of the Agency, or of any other party interested in such contract, except the member prohibited from making or being interested in such contract. 3. Any person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a gross misdemeanor and shall forfeit his or her office. (Added to NRS by 1973, 1385)
