1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 281.572, the Secretary of State shall provide access through a secure Internet website for the purpose of filing financial disclosure statements to each public officer or candidate who is required to file electronically with the Secretary of State a financial disclosure statement pursuant to NRS 281.5555 to 281.581, inclusive. 2. A financial disclosure statement that is filed electronically with the Secretary of State shall be deemed to be filed on the date that it is filed electronically if it is filed not later than 11:59 p.m. on that date.
