Statute 282 150

When the penal sum of any bond amounts to more than $2,000, the sureties may become severally liable for portions not less than $500 of such penal sum, making in the aggregate at least two sureties for the whole penal sum. [12:135:1865; B § 2928; BH § 1749; C § 1903; RL § 2879; NCL § 4901]
