1. The permanent and temporary polling places for early voting by personal appearance must satisfy the criteria to be used to select permanent and temporary polling places for early voting by personal appearance provided by the city clerk pursuant to subsection 2. 2. The city clerk shall: (a) Provide by rule or regulation for the criteria to be used to select permanent and temporary polling places for early voting by personal appearance; and (b) At a meeting of the city council or other governing body of the city, inform the city council or other governing body of the sites selected as permanent and temporary polling places for early voting by personal appearance.
