1. The clerk of a district court shall give a receipt on demand of any party paying a fee. The receipt shall specify the title or the case number of the cause in which the fee is paid and the date and the amount of the payment. 2. The several clerks of the district courts shall, on or before the 5th day of each month, pay over to the county treasurer all moneys received by them during the preceding month for court fees together with a brief note of the cases in which the same were received.
