Notwithstanding the provisions of NRS 332.352, a governing body may deem a person a qualified service company if the person has been determined by: 1. The State Public Works Division of the Department of Administration or a local government pursuant to NRS 338.1379 to be qualified to bid on a public work; or 2. Another local government pursuant to NRS 332.351 to be qualified as a qualified service company. (Added to NRS by 2009, 964)
