1. If an appointed member of the Board fails to attend three successive meetings of the Board, the Board shall provide notice of that fact, in writing, to the appointing authority who appointed that member. 2. The notice must be provided to the appointing authority within 5 days after the third successive meeting that the member fails to attend. 3. Upon receipt of the notice, the appointing authority may appoint a person to replace the member in the same manner as filling a vacancy on the Board.
