1. As used in this section, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) 'Publication' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 378.160. (b) 'State agency' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 378.160. 2. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, every state agency which periodically distributes any publication shall at least after every 12 issues, or annually if published more frequently than once a month, notify the person receiving the publication that his or her name will be deleted from the mailing list unless the person notifies the state agency within 30 days that he or she wants to remain on the mailing list. 3. This section does not apply if the person subscribes to and pays a fee for the publication. (Added to NRS by 1975, 704; A 1979, 197; 2005, 742)
