Whenever the terms of NRS 354.470 to 354.626, inclusive, require or refer to action of a governing body by resolution, the governing body may at its discretion act by ordinance, if it is otherwise authorized by law to adopt ordinances. (Added to NRS by 1965, 730; A 1971, 1013, 1342; 2013, 2712)
