Whenever the terms of NRS 354.470 to 354.626, inclusive, require publication of notice, such requirement shall be deemed to have been met when such notice is published once in some newspaper published within the area encompassed or served by the local government. However, if no such newspaper is published within that area such notice shall be published in some newspaper published in the State of Nevada and having a general circulation in the area. The cost of publications shall be a proper charge against the appropriate fund of the local government. (Added to NRS by 1965, 730; A 1971, 1014, 1342)
