1. The Executive Director shall: (a) Keep audio recordings or transcripts of all meetings and full and correct records of all transactions and proceedings of the Nevada Tax Commission, the State Board of Equalization and the Department. (b) Perform such other duties as may be required. 2. The Nevada Tax Commission shall have the power to authorize the Executive Director or any other officer of the Department to hold hearings or make investigations, and upon any such hearing the Executive Director or officer shall have the authority to examine books, compel the attendance of witnesses, administer oaths and conduct investigations.
