If an assignee requests the county treasurer to issue a duplicate certificate of assignment, the assignee must submit to the county treasurer a notarized affidavit which attests that the original certificate was lost or destroyed. The county treasurer shall, upon receipt of the affidavit, issue to the assignee an exact duplicate of the certificate of assignment. (Added to NRS by 2005, 511; A 2013, 1563)
