1. On or before June 1 in any year in which a general election is held, the Superintendent of Public Instruction shall file with each clerk of a county whose boundaries are conterminous with a county school district a certificate stating the total number of pupils enrolled during that school year in the county school district. 2. On or before January 1 in any year in which a general election is held, the Superintendent of Public Instruction shall file with each clerk of a county whose boundaries are conterminous with a county school district a certificate stating the number and offices of trustees of the county school district to be filled at the next general election.
