Statute 386 419

The Legislature declares that: 1. Children are particularly vulnerable to and may be severely affected by exposure to chemicals, hazardous wastes and other environmental hazards that may be used for cleaning and maintenance in the public schools; and 2. It is the intent of the Legislature to reduce the possible exposure of pupils and school personnel to potentially hazardous chemicals and substances which are used in the cleaning and maintenance of the public schools in this State.
