The Legislature hereby declares that the members of a governing body and all administrators and teachers have a duty to create and provide a safe and respectful learning environment for all pupils that is free of discrimination based on race, bullying and cyber-bullying. 2. A parent or guardian of a pupil may petition a court of competent jurisdiction for a writ of mandamus to compel the performance of any duty imposed by the provisions of NRS 388.121 to 388.1395, inclusive. 3. Nothing in this section shall be deemed to preclude a parent or guardian of a pupil from seeking any remedy available at law or in equity. (Added to NRS by 2015, 410; A 2017, 4154; 2021, 3361)
