1. The board of trustees of a school district or the governing body of a charter school shall ensure that information relating to mental health resources, including, without limitation, the number 9-8-8 which may be dialed to access the hotline described in NRS 433.704 for persons who are considering suicide or otherwise in a behavioral health crisis, or any successor number for a hotline established pursuant to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline program, appears on the back of any identification card issued to a pupil at a school within the school district or the charter school. 2. As used in this section, 'National Suicide Prevention Lifeline program' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 433.702. (Added to NRS by 2021, 3220; A 2023, 1864)
