The board of trustees of each school district, in conjunction with the school police officers of the school district, if any, and the local law enforcement agencies that have jurisdiction over the school district, shall establish a policy for the procedures which must be followed by a peace officer in arresting a pupil on school grounds during school hours. The policy must include the circumstances under which the chief administrative officer of a school must be notified of the arrest of a pupil. 2.
