1. The board of trustees of each school district and the governing body of each charter school shall ensure that at least one poster created pursuant to NRS 432B.200 which prominently displays the toll-free telephone number for the center that receives reports of abuse or neglect of a child in this State is posted: (a) Conspicuously in each public school of the school district or the charter school, as applicable; (b) In an area that is frequently and easily accessed by pupils; and (c) At eye level, as practicable, according to the average height of the pupils enrolled in the public school. 2. The board of trustees of each school district and the governing body of each charter school, in addition to the requirements in subsection 1, may promote the toll-free telephone number for the center that receives reports of abuse or neglect of a child in this State through electronic means, including, without limitation, social media. As used in this subsection, 'social media' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 232.003. (Added to NRS by 2017, 481)
