1. A pupil enrolled in a public school may not be disciplined, including, without limitation, pursuant to subsection 5 of NRS 386.855 or NRS 392.466 or 392.467, based on the race of the pupil. 2. As used in this section: (a) 'Protective hairstyle' includes, without limitation, hairstyles such as natural hairstyles, afros, bantu knots, curls, braids, locks and twists. (b) 'Race' includes traits associated with race, including, without limitation, hair texture and protective hairstyles. (Added to NRS by 2021, 1718)
