Statute 392 4643

An action must not be taken pursuant to the provisions of NRS 392.4642 to 392.4648, inclusive, against a pupil with a disability unless the action complies with: 1. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, 20 U.S.C. §§ 1400 et seq.; 2. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101 et seq.; 3. Title V of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 29 U.S.C. §§ 791 et seq.; 4. Any other federal law applicable to children with disabilities; and 5. The procedural policy adopted by the board of trustees of the school district for such matters. (Added to NRS by 1999, 3188; A 2017, 2004; 2021, 2330)
