1. In all private schools, colleges and universities located within this state, except those operated exclusively for employees of the Department of Defense of the Federal Government and their families, instruction must be given in the essentials of the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Nevada, including the origin and history of the Constitutions and the study of and devotion to American institutions and ideals. 2. The instruction required in subsection 1 must be given during at least 1 year each of the elementary, high school and college grades. 3.
