1. The governing body of a private school shall not enter into an agreement that: (a) Has the effect of suppressing information relating to an investigation concerning a report of suspected abuse or power-based violence by a current or former employee. (b) Affects the ability of the private school to report suspected abuse or power-based violence to the appropriate authorities. (c) Requires the private school to expunge information about allegations or findings of suspected abuse or power-based violence from any documents maintained by the private school unless, after investigating the alleged violation, the private school determines that the allegations were false, unfounded, unsubstantiated or inconclusive. 2. If an agreement requires the removal of a document from the personnel file of an employee, the private school must maintain the document with the agreement. 3. Any provisions in an agreement that violate the provisions of this section are void. 4. As used in this section, 'power-based violence' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 396.1285.
