1. A driving school: (a) Must be located more than 200 feet from any office of the Department of Motor Vehicles; (b) Must have the equipment necessary to instruct students in the safe operation of motor vehicles and maintain the equipment in a safe condition; and (c) Must have insurance in at least the following amounts: (1) For bodily injury to or death of two or more persons in one crash, $40,000; and (2) For damage to property in any one crash, $10,000. 2. The Department of Motor Vehicles may review and approve or disapprove any application to issue, renew or revoke a license for a driving school. The Department of Motor Vehicles may, at any time, inspect a licensed driving school and may recommend that its license be suspended or revoked. The Administrator shall investigate and recommend to the Commission the appropriate action. (Added to NRS by 1985, 990; A 2001, 2605; 2015, 1670)
