The Board of Regents may: 1. Create a Police Department for the System and appoint one or more persons to be members of the Department; and 2. Authorize the Department to enter into interlocal agreements pursuant to chapter 277 of NRS with other law enforcement agencies to provide for the rendering of mutual aid.
