1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2 and NRS 239.0115 and 439.597, the records of the genetics program concerning the clients and families of clients are confidential. 2. The genetics program may share information in its possession with the University of Nevada School of Medicine and the Division of Public and Behavioral Health of the Department of Health and Human Services, if the confidentiality of the information is otherwise maintained in accordance with the terms and conditions required by law.
