The Ethics Institute may: 1. Plan and arrange educational activities to provide for practical applications of ethical consensus in medical practice. 2. Act as a forum for persons to address issues of medical ethics. 3. Coordinate informed communication between providers of health care and persons who make public policy in matters of medical ethics. 4. Act as a clearinghouse of information for members of the medical profession, hospital administrators, persons who make public policy and the public on matters of medical ethics.
