Statute 396 896

1. The Board of Regents or its designee may, after receiving an application stating the reasons therefor, grant an extension of the period for the repayment of a loan in case of hardship arising out of the individual circumstances of a recipient. The extension must be for a period that will reasonably alleviate that hardship. 2. Applications for extensions must be filed within the time prescribed by regulation of the Board of Regents.
