(b) Not regularly employed as a public employee and not a certified court reporter, the person is entitled to such compensation for preparing the transcript as the board of county commissioners determines. (c) A certified court reporter, the person is entitled to the same compensation as set forth in NRS 3.370. 2. The compensation for transcripts and copies must be paid by the party ordering them. In a civil case, the preparation of the transcript need not commence until the compensation has been deposited with the court reporter.
