Statute 408 146

1. The Board may sell or lease any of the State’s water rights which are appurtenant to real property acquired pursuant to this chapter to a public utility engaged in the business of furnishing water for municipal, industrial and domestic purposes without first offering those water rights to the public. 2. If a public utility wishes to dispose of any water right acquired pursuant to subsection 1, it must be reconveyed to the State. (Added to NRS by 1983, 526; A 1985, 704; 1987, 1800; 1989, 1300)
