Statute 408 3878

'Prime contractor' means a person who: 1. Contracts to construct an entire project; 2. Coordinates all work performed on the entire project; 3. Uses his or her own workforce to perform all or a part of the construction of the project; and 4. Contracts for the services of any subcontractor or independent contractor or is responsible for payment to any contracted subcontractors or independent contractors.
