Statute 412 214

'Commanding officer' means a commissioned officer who by virtue of rank and assignment exercises primary command authority over a military organization or a prescribed territorial area, which under pertinent official directives is recognized as a command. (Added to NRS by 1967, 1309; A 2013, 1111)
