1. The Chair of the Nevada Statewide Council on Financial Independence may, with the approval of the Council, appoint any working groups deemed necessary by the Chair to assist in carrying out the duties of the Council. If a working group is appointed, the Chair shall appoint to the working group the number of voting members that the Chair determines to be appropriate. The Chair may appoint any person the Chair deems appropriate to serve on a working group, except that a working group must include at least one member of the Council. 2. If a member of a working group formed pursuant to subsection 1 is a public employee, the member’s employer must grant the member administrative leave from his or her duties to serve on the working group without loss of the member’s regular compensation and without reducing the amount of any other leave the member may have accrued.
