1. Upon receiving information from the licensing authority or its approved designee pursuant to NRS 424.155 or evidence from any other source that an owner, member of the governing body, employee, consultant, contractor, volunteer or vendor of a foster care agency who may come into direct contact with a child placed by the foster care agency has been arrested for, has charges pending for or has been convicted of a crime listed in NRS 424.145, the foster care agency shall terminate the employment, contract or volunteer activities of the person after allowing the person time to correct the information as required pursuant to subsection 2. 2. If a person believes that the information provided about him or her pursuant to subsection 1 is incorrect, the person must inform the foster care agency immediately. A foster care agency that is so informed shall give the person 30 days to correct the information. 3. During the period in which a person seeks to correct information pursuant to subsection 2, it is within the discretion of the foster care agency whether to allow the person to continue to be associated with the foster care agency, except that the person must not have contact with a tion 2, it is within the discretion of the foster care agency whether to allow the person to continue to be associated with the foster care agency, except that the person must not have contact with a child in any foster home without supervision during any such period.
