A provider shall not conduct an outdoor youth program unless it employs: 1. A field administrator who: (a) Is not less than 25 years of age; (b) Holds a baccalaureate or higher degree, from an accredited college or university, in recreational therapy or a related field; (c) Has completed a program of training, approved by the Division, on survival in the wilderness; (d) Has not less than 2 years’ experience in the specific type of outdoor youth program being conducted; and (e) Is certified and receives annual training in the use and administration of first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation. 2. Senior field staff and support staff who: (a) Are not less than 21 years of age; (b) Have graduated from high school and satisfactorily completed not less than 24 semester hours of academic instruction, at an accredited college or university, in subjects relating to the care of children; (c) Have completed a program of training, approved by the Division, on survival in the wilderness; (d) Have not less than 6 months’ experience in the field with an outdoor youth program; and (e) Are certified and receive annual training in the use and administration of first aid, including erness; (d) Have not less than 6 months’ experience in the field with an outdoor youth program; and (e) Are certified and receive annual training in the use and administration of first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation. 3. Additional field staff, in such a number as necessary to comply with the requirements of NRS 432A.480, who: (a) Are not less than 21 years of age; (b) Have graduated from high school and satisfactorily completed not less than 12 semester hours of academic instruction, at an accredited college or university, in subjects relating to the care of children; (c) Display skills in leadership; and (d) Are certified and receive annual training in the use and administration of first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
