1. Physicians shall be employed within the various division facilities as are necessary for the operation of the facilities. They shall hold degrees of doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathic medicine from accredited medical schools and they shall be licensed to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine in Nevada as provided by law. 2. Except as otherwise provided by law, their only compensation shall be annual salaries, fixed in accordance with the pay plan adopted pursuant to the provisions of NRS 284.175. 3.
