Statute 433b 160

1. A person employed by the Division as a psychiatrist, psychologist, marriage and family therapist, clinical professional counselor, registered nurse or social worker must be licensed or certified by the appropriate state licensing board for his or her respective profession. 2. Any psychiatrist who is employed by the Division must be certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology within 5 years after his or her first date of employment with the Division. The Administrator shall terminate the employment of any psychiatrist who fails to receive that certification. (Added to NRS by 1993, 2710; A 2007, 3088)
