'Diffuse source' means any source of water pollution which is diffused to the extent that it is not readily discernible and cannot be confined to a discrete conveyance. This term is intended to be equivalent to the term 'nonpoint source' as used in federal statutes and regulations. (Added to NRS by 1979, 1029)
