1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the provisions of NRS 449.115 to 449.125, inclusive, and 449.174 do not apply to any facility for the treatment of alcohol or other substance use disorders. 2. A facility for the treatment of alcohol or other substance use disorders must comply with the requirements of NRS 449.115 to 449.125, inclusive, and 449.174 if the facility for the treatment of alcohol or other substance use disorders provides residential services to children.
