1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, a person shall not operate or maintain in this State an intermediary service organization without first obtaining a certificate to operate an intermediary service organization as provided in NRS 449.4304 to 449.4339, inclusive. 2. A person who is licensed to operate an agency to provide personal care services in the home pursuant to this chapter is not required to obtain a certificate to operate an intermediary service organization as described in this section. 3. A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Added to NRS by 2013, 126; A 2019, 2923, 4346)
