1. The Director may, by regulation, impose fees upon admitted health insurers to cover the costs of carrying out the provisions of NRS 449.450 to 449.530, inclusive. The maximum amount of fees collected must not exceed the amount authorized by the Legislature in each biennial budget. 2. The Director shall impose a fee of $50 each year upon admitted health insurers for the support of the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Health and Human Services. The fee imposed pursuant to this subsection is in addition to any fee imposed pursuant to subsection 1. The fee collected for the support of the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Health and Human Services must be deposited in the Legislative Fund.
