1. On or before July 1 of each odd-numbered year, the Secretary of State shall make a determination of whether sufficient money is available and authorized for expenditure to fund one or more components of the programs and other duties of the Secretary of State relating to NRS 449A.700 to 449A.739, inclusive. 2. The Secretary of State shall temporarily suspend any components of the programs or duties of the Secretary of State for which he or she determines pursuant to subsection 1 that sufficient money is not available. 3. The Secretary of State may charge and collect fees and accept gifts, grants, bequests and other contributions from any source for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of NRS 449A.700 to 449A.739, inclusive.
